3 Minute Gold News
A Quick Read for Busy People
I apologize for the delay in the 3 Minute Gold News.
My dad passed away.
He was my anchor and my rock.
He was my properness and British history, CBC and opera and musical theatre. He was my risk taking and following protocol while breaking all the rules possible. My fine dining with a box of wine. My hard work, my choirs and plays, singing and so much laughter and improper joking. He was my marching to a different drummer no matter what the crowds say and do. He was proud and happy in his own skin, and wanted me to be in mine. He loved and was loved, with so many family members and friends who respected him.
My dad was very intelligent. He knew bits of everything and understood what was really going on. He inspired my love of music, of learning, and of figuring out the “why” of world events. He talked with me about gold and silver, about planning ahead, and how important history is.
My dad’s voice was deep and rich and beautiful, speaking and singing. We walked together in the sunshine a few weeks ago and he let me know all is well.
All is well, dad. I love you so very much.

For those readers who follow Jim Rickards, Jim was in contact with me and was praying for me and for my dad through his sudden passing this weekend. I appreciate his care.

What beautiful thoughts you hold so close and precious for your Father, Elaine. He so very clearly has influenced you in such wonderful ways….how blessed you were….are! I’m sorry for your loss at this time, but know he will be with you while you live his love for you. Dave *Hugs*

Elaine,
So sorry for your loss. It seems like your Dad was a cool dude. I wish I had met him.

I have 3 grown daughters. Someday I will be gone. Their beauty is so deep That time spent with them always seems to be inadequate. Infinite love is the only solution to this riddle. Freely given.

What an eloquent tribute! My prayers are with you as you deal with the absence of what was obviously such a profound influence.

I have 3 grown daughters. Letting them become themselves without forcing them to conform is contrary to paternal instinct. The world has been cruel to them at times. But they are light to those around them. So are you. Infinite glory is ours to receive.

Always a sad day when someone who has freely given to us so much of the important things, “move on” and into the next part of the Journey (whatever it may be). We all take our turns at this thing called Life and those who freely give of themselves with no expectations of reward for the giving, as it sounds like your poppy was, are in my opinion the best of the best. Take care.
