They're in a pickle of their own fermenting. The BIS is freaking out over being accused of creating the very thing that is used to overthrow the current system that they, the BIS, rules over. Which they did, but it would have happened anyway. Bureaucracy cannot do vision. It couldn't foresee this.
Those with an advantage inside a closed system with a tilt in their favour do not want a level playing field. All players in all games want the higher ground.
Can you keep thoughts separate from emotional connection to an angry group? It's the only way to not be ruled and run by a dollar and a gun. To think. To align when you choose and unalign when you choose. That's the control, and the individual human's power.
The amount of force that pushed towards global control will be the same amount of force that will swing back towards protecting and building national sovereignty, toward individual control and national culture.
